A lot of home providers do it that way. It keeps the phone quiet while you have the kids. The trouble is that every call you send to voicemail is a mom who is already dialing the next daycare on her list.
We also run a phone line that answers for you, day and night. It tells her your hours and whether you have a spot, takes her name and number, and sends you a note about the call. That is a separate service from your website, and it is not for everybody. Ask about it when you write in and we will tell you straight whether it is worth it for a daycare your size.
